In this introductory in-person photography course students will tour the city developing their photographer's eye, photography techniques and basics of using natural light. Editing basics will be cover during the course. Students will travel with an instructor around Washington D.C. on foot. The course includes outside assignments. Assignments will be given to students on the first day of the course. Successful completion of the course requirements will earn the student 72 hours or 7.2 CEU’s. The course will occur over two consecutive weekends. The first class will be inside in Silver Spring, MD. The remaining classes will be on location in DC. This course involves walking, standing and taking public transportation. Students must bring a digital camera to each class period. This course is not for cell phones. Camera rental is available.
