Experience the volunteer community of America. In this course students learn about an American tradition: volunteering. Students select an approved community-based organization and volunteer in-person. Students will create a presentation about the community organization they selected and summarize their duties on an online or in person Volunteer America Impact Day on September 1, 2024 3pm. This course involves research and capturing media clips during your volunteer experience. The final assignment is a video blog about your experience. Students have 60 days to volunteer and create a presentation. Successful completion of the course requirements will earn the student 32 hours or 3.2 CEU’s.
